Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a safety professional to oversee on-site programs across construction projects. You will lead a safety team, coordinate with project teams, and promote a proactive safety culture to protect workers and assets.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Safety Management or 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA certifications preferred, and strong knowledge of NFPA 70E. The role is onsite in Casey, IL with some travel to Fenton, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management or related field; or 3+ years construction safety experience.
• Previous construction jobsite safety experience is required.
• OSHA certifications preferred (500/510) and CSP/CHST certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E and local regulations; ability to train and supervise.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture and oversee administration of safety, compliance, and training.
• Manage the on-site safety team and coordinate with project personnel.
• Assess risks, conduct inspections/audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop safety trainings and respond to incidents with detailed reporting.
• Interface with general contractors and subcontractors to prevent injuries.
