Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to lead on-site safety programs across active construction sites in the Kansas City area. You will promote a positive safety culture, oversee compliance, and coordinate training for field personnel.

Responsibilities include hazard assessments, incident investigations, development of JHA/SMP, and ensuring adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and company policies while collaborating with project teams and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in safety management or related field.
• OSHA 500/510 certifications preferred; CSP/CHST a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience on job sites.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive safety culture and oversee safety admin on site.
• Manage on-site safety team and ensure subordinates meet expectations.
• Collaborate with project teams to address hazards and plan safe work.
• Assist Regional Safety Director in controlling hazardous conditions.
• Develop and review health, safety, and environmental plans for projects.
• Investigate incidents, compile reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead safety trainings on topics like Fall Protection and NFPA70E.
• Ensure PPE availability and regulatory compliance.
