Job summary

HazTek Safety Management is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety on projects in Trenton and Titusville, NJ, roughly 50/50 between sites. You will oversee contractor safety, perform audits, lead toolbox talks, and support incident investigations to keep work sites compliant and safe.

The role requires OSHA 30-Hour Construction and OSHA 510 certification, strong leadership and communication, and willingness to travel between locations. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required.
• OSHA 510 certification is required.
• Experience leading construction safety programs and contractor safety oversight.
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
• Experience with audits, investigations, corrective actions, and safety reporting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify construction safety risks with project leadership and address concerns.
• Oversee contractor safety performance and regulatory compliance on site.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor safety indicators and report metrics to leadership.
• Lead safety performance reviews and deliver safety briefings.
• Support incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance on construction safety across projects.
• Participate in safety reviews during design and planning.
• Share best practices and lessons learned across projects.
