Job summary

Nations Roof in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Construction Site Safety Representative to lead on-site safety for a large roofing project. The role requires full-time presence, OSHA compliance, and close collaboration with project teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in safety on construction sites, OSHA 30, and Spanish/English bilingual abilities, with a strong focus on proactive safety planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a dedicated Safety role in construction.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and state standards.
• Experience working with crews performing high-risk tasks (i.e. working at heights).
• OSHA 30- Required.
• OSHA 500-510 Certification – Highly Preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English – Written & Verbal – Highly Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for site safety planning, JSAs, and pre-task planning
• Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with field teams to coach safe practices, especially those working at heights
• Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and required training, including OSHA 10/30, CPR, Fall Protection, Forklift Operation, PPE, and other safety protocols as applicable.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Maintain accurate documentation using Salesforce or similar tracking tools
