Job summary

Proximiti Safety Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager to support on-site operations and ensure compliance with all EHS requirements for large-scale construction projects.

You will lead safety programs, conduct audits, provide training, and drive a proactive safety culture across the project. The role requires strong leadership and deep knowledge of OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of safety management experience.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• OSHA 500 preferred; BCSP certifications highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction regulations.
• Experience with excavation and trenching.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide field safety supervision on site.
• Implement and enforce EHS practices on project.
• Conduct site safety audits, toolbox talks, and meetings.
• Deliver safety orientation and training for site personnel.
• Perform job hazard analyses and develop corrective actions.
• Oversee PPE usage and compliance with safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; document findings.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous safety improvement.
