Job summary

United Contractor Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Construction Site Safety Manager to lead safety programs on active job sites and train employees and subcontractors. This role requires regular out-of-state travel and a hands-on approach to safety leadership, with a focus on regulatory compliance and program implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on construction safety experience.
• Active OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Model and promote strong, productive leadership across all safety functions.
• Execute and sustain daily implementation of safety programs on active job sites.
• Lead onsite safety training sessions for employees and subcontractors, and coordinate regular workshops.
• This role is hands-on - expect to be on your feet roughly 80% of the time.
• Must be able to independently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
