Job summary

Nations Roof is seeking an experienced Construction Site Safety Representative to provide dedicated, on-site safety leadership for a large-scale commercial roofing project in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on maintaining a proactive safety-first culture while ensuring OSHA compliance and client safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a dedicated safety role in construction.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and state standards.
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500-510 certification highly preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred (written & verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for site safety planning, JSAs, and pre-task planning.
• Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with field teams to coach safe practices, especially at heights.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, client safety requirements, and company policies.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Maintain documentation using Salesforce or similar tracking tools.
