Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced EH&S professional to partner with project teams on a single Atlanta construction project. You will enforce company and regulatory safety programs, lead trainings, and manage environmental and hazardous materials reporting to ensure zero citations and strong safety performance.

Responsibilities include developing site-specific safety plans, auditing subcontractors, and delivering data-driven safety reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years of related construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• OSHA 30-hour training; First Aid/CPR/BBP/AED current.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Ability to identify safety exposures and lead corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project and enforce safety compliance.
• Develop action plans to mitigate risks and drive safety improvements.
• Lead training on safe work practices for project teams and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance and completeness.
• Prepare safety reports and metrics; identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct safety audits and coordinate corrective actions with project staff.
