Job summary

McGuire & Hester is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the Safety Manager and enforce the company safety program across subsidiaries. You will provide technical insight, risk analysis, and ensure compliance with state and federal safety regulations on all jobsites.

Responsibilities include leading daily safety huddles, conducting inspections, investigations, and training activities. A CA driver’s license and clean record are required to operationalize safety programs for our diverse

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English at a professional level; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Certifications include OSHA 30-hour and 40-hour HAZWOPER; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety program and ensure compliance across sites.
• Attend daily jobsite huddles and safety meetings.
• Conduct jobsite safety inspections and document hazards.
• Perform accident and injury investigations and follow up actions.
• Maintain and enhance safety training levels for field staff.
