Job summary

McKenney's, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to support the safety team across multiple construction sites. You will help ensure project safety accountability programs, manage site inspections, and align with client and state/federal safety regulations.

You will partner with onsite leaders to conduct job safety analyses, perform site walks, report hazards, and drive corrective actions to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field safety experience with proven project safety efforts.
• Working knowledge of construction OSHA regulations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site safety audits and coordinate with project teams to enforce safety programs.
• Document incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with Safety Manager to implement job safety analysis and lookahead planning.
• Inspect field conditions and equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Lead daily safety huddles and communicate hazards to crews.
• Support training, permits, and safety onboarding for new projects.
