Job summary

McCownGordon Construction, LLC is seeking a Safety Lead to implement our health, safety, and environmental program across multiple project sites. You will partner with project teams, trade partners, and visitors to maintain a safe work environment on every site.

This role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and practical training. You will develop site-specific safety plans, conduct audits, lead investigations, and mentor junior staff, ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety/related field.
• 5+ years of safety experience in construction or similar setting.
• Willingness to pursue CHST certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site safety programs across projects.
• Attend weekly meetings with trade partners and OAC to oversee safety.
• Monitor trade partner activities for safety concerns.
• Lead incident investigations and safety procedures.
• Assist pre-planning of project activities and document reviews.
• Record and analyze safety and injury statistics.
• Conduct safety audits and mitigate hazards on schedule.
