Qualifications

• A 4-year degree is preferred.
• Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested.
• Valid Driver's License, required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite - Excel templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate with Hensel Phelps staff, craft and trade partners.
• Assist the project superintendent in safety plans and management tools.
• Contribute to accident prevention and crisis management planning.
• Participate in the six-step quality control/safety process.
• Conduct safety audits and reviews of activity hazard analyses.
• Assist with OSHA inspections and incident investigations.
• Monitor safety performance of Hensel Phelps and trades.
• Attend awareness and competent person level courses.
• Learn construction processes and team roles on site.
