Job summary

Boston Housing Authority is seeking a Construction Representative (Exempt) to be stationed on a single project site, reporting to the Deputy Director or Senior Project Manager and coordinating daily with BHA Project Managers.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction administration or as Clerk of the Works, with strong communication and organizational abilities, and experience in affordable housing projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction administration/management or as Clerk of the Works or Owner's Project Representative.
• Experience in affordable housing construction and occupied buildings preferred.
• Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's License preferred.
• Strong initiative, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with BHA buildings and sites to contribute to capital planning.
• Review CDs and monitor construction conformance with design during Design Phases.
• Assist Contractor’s superintendent in understanding the Construction Documents.
