Job summary

Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) is seeking a Boston-based Development Associate to support Project Managers across all phases of real estate development. This entry-level role provides exposure to financing, due diligence, and closings, with training provided.

You will work across offices on multiple tasks from reporting to vendor coordination. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication, and the initiative to help advance POAH’s affordable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, mathematics, urban planning, or a related field.
• Real estate development experience is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Strong teamwork abilities and excellent communication with diverse partners.

Responsibilities

• Gather materials for financing applications and RFP responses.
• Organize submission processes for applications and RFPs.
• Assemble due diligence for construction and loan conversions and manage closing checklists.
