Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a construction engineer to support the successful delivery of projects with strong knowledge of project activities. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to meet requirements, timelines, and quality standards.

Your role includes monitoring progress and suggesting improvements to ensure efficient execution while maintaining safety and quality. You will assist in reviewing drawings and submittals, coordinate with managers to resolve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0 - 4 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
• Maintains regular field presence to support safe work execution, including participation in safety meetings.
• Coordinates with project managers and teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
• Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances.
• Supports the implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
• Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
• Identifies opportunities for incremental improvements and contributes to leading practices with guidance.
• Participates in project meetings and communicates updates to team members and stakeholders.
