Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Boston, MA is seeking a Capital Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in delivering projects for our clients on-site at their campus. You will drive permit processes, safety compliance, and coordination with the project team and client representatives to ensure work progresses safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have experience with building systems, project coordination, and strong communication skills to manage multiple tasks, vendors, and reports

Qualifications

• Experience with building management and systems integration.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and steam building systems.
• Familiarity with lab protocol and safety practices.
• Strong customer service orientation and vendor coordination.
• Experience with CM or construction management environments.
• Osha 10/30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue, monitor, and control permits for CBRE/Turner & Townsend and clients.
• Ensure projects align with Zero Incident safety culture.
• Monitor daily work activities and permit compliance.
• Coordinate with project team and fire marshal on material laydown.
• Develop Facility Protection Plan to minimize impact in occupied areas.
• Ensure service providers deliver high-quality services.
• Maintain relationships with external consultants and vendors.
• Multitask across multiple projects.
• Provide updates and formal reports on hours, permits issued, and safety events.
• Handle overtime and weekend work as required.
