Job summary

Batson-Cook Construction is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to join our on-site team in Winter Garden, FL. You will support project administration, coordinate office activities, and help ensure smooth communication with clients, suppliers, and staff.

The ideal candidate has four years of secretarial or office management experience and a hands-on approach to organization, scheduling, and problem solving on fast-paced construction sites.

Qualifications

• Four years of secretarial or office management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office Administration Department.
• Manages the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain a professional image.
• Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, etc.
• Responsible for the facilities' day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.).
• Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities.
• Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
• Participation is needed in special department projects.
• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain a relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
• Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission, and values
