Job summary

Batson-Cook is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the on-site Winter Garden, FL office and coordinate administrative activities for the Office Administration Department. The role focuses on maintaining professional communications and supporting facilities operations.

Responsibilities include managing reception, coordinating supplies, and participating in special projects while reinforcing the company vision and values in daily interactions.

Qualifications

• Four years of secretarial or office management experience; or a combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the Office Administration Department.
• Manages the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain a professional image.
• Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, etc.
• Responsible for the facilities' day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back-up to security access cards, etc.).
• Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities.
• Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
• Participation is needed in special department projects.
• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain a relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.
• Communicates and reinforces the Company vision, mission, and values
