Job summary

Homes by WestBay is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our City Homes Division in South Tampa, FL. The Construction Manager III oversees on-site construction for assigned homes, coordinating daily activities, managing field personnel, and delivering homes on schedule and within budget while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will be the primary customer contact from plan review through final walk-through, ensuring clear communication with sales, design, and purchasing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4-year college degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Experience with stem wall construction and site preparation requirements.
• Working knowledge of production homebuilding scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and scopes of work.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all construction activities to achieve 100% completion on schedule, within budget and in conformance to plans, specifications and standards.
• Communicate with the customer on a weekly basis.
• Maintain an organized job site and construction office; manage all trades to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Direct all trades to complete scheduled tasks on time and in conformance with plans, specifications and scopes of work.
• Ensure readiness for inspections and maintain safety policies across the site.
