Job summary

Windstar Homes Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager for the Tampa Bay Area.

You will lead complex custom residential projects, coordinate with designers, subcontractors, and clients, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in residential construction project management, with strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with project management systems, and knowledge of Florida Building Codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in residential construction.
• Demonstrated experience managing custom residential construction projects.
• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Building Codes and residential construction requirements.
• Experience with project schedules, budgets, procurement, bidding, change orders, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of selections, changes, and buyouts; ensure timely processing.
• Monitor procurement timelines and coordinate with vendors/subcontractors.
• Maintain and manage project schedules, milestones, and mitigation strategies.
• Identify long-lead materials and coordinate their release for fabrication/delivery.
• Lead internal project review meetings to align design, preconstruction and operations.
• Monitor budgets and maintain discipline throughout the project.
• Ensure contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders are organized and current.
• Serve as primary client contact and communicate progress, changes, and schedules.
