Job summary

APSI Construction Management seeks a Construction Manager/Administrator for the Electronic Health Record Modernization project within VA Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System in Tuskegee, AL. The CM-CA will remain on-site for the contract duration, supporting operations, scheduling, design reviews, code compliance and testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of construction field experience with CM tasks.
• Completion of 30-hour OSHA Safety Training Class within 60 days of NTP.
• Working knowledge of construction practices and QA, safety, time, cost management.
• Experience in monitoring construction for QA and identifying deficiencies.
• Must present three projects of similar scale and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site for the duration of the EHRM construction project.
• Provide professional and technical consultative assistance for operations, renovation, and new construction programs.
• Assist in scheduling, design reviews, cost control, and QA/QC.
• Conduct or attend weekly project meetings and review contractor payment requirements.
• Maintain thorough records to aid VA in conflict resolution and change management.
