Job summary

APSI Construction Management is seeking an on-site Construction Manager/Administrator for the Electronic Health Record Modernization project at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. The CM-CA will oversee operations, renovation and new construction activities, report to the CO/RO, and ensure compliance with contract documents.

The role requires coordinating schedule, cost control, QA/QC, and documentation, including progress meetings and contractor payment processing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of construction field experience in CM tasks.
• Completion of 3-hour OSHA Safety Training within 60 days of NTP.
• Working knowledge of construction practices, QA, safety, time, cost, and information management.

Responsibilities

• On-site CM-CA for the duration of the EHRM construction project.
• Assist the Contracting Officer and RSO in project management, engineering, planning, scheduling, and design reviews.
• Monitor quality assurance and prepare, analyze, and identify incongruities in contractor work.
• Attend and document progress meetings; review contractor payment requirements.
• Perform testing/inspection oversight with independent labs when required.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation; maintain thorough project records.
