Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks an on-site Site Superintendent to lead field activities for Henderson Building Solutions. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate scheduling with subs, enforce safety standards, and maintain quality per project drawings.

The role requires 3+ years of field construction supervision, OSHA 30, and the ability to read plans. Local travel and an active driver’s license are expected, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Understand scheduling, sequencing, site logistics, and quality control practices.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients and internal teams.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within defined timeframe; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site coordination of construction activities and field execution.
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and field coordination with trades.
• Monitor safety, enforce JHAs, and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to support project execution.
• Maintain site organization, cleanliness, and logistics to support schedule adherence.
• Document progress, prepare reports, and communicate field updates to leadership.
• Participate in daily safety and coordination meetings and risk assessments.
• Ensure quality control by following project specs, drawings, and company standards.
• Support resolution of workforce coordination challenges and schedule disruptions.
