Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on active sites. This role requires hands-on management, strong communication, and the ability to drive projects to completion with closely controlled schedules.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety standards, coordination with field teams, and maintaining workforce continuity across trades at Henderson Building Solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and teamwork skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and project documents.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain within defined timeframe.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within defined timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and execution of project schedules with PMs, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Assists with pre-construction planning activities, including logistics coordination and schedule preparation.
• Ensures JHAs and safety planning activities are completed before pre-construction and field work.
• Coordinates daily field activities to maintain schedule adherence and project goals.
• Maintains site logistics to support efficient project execution and minimize disruption.
• Maintains jobsite organization, cleanliness and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Participates in safety observations, meetings, and audits to mitigate risks.
• Communicates field updates to project leadership and coordinates look-ahead schedules.
