Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States, starting with a project in the northeast Ohio area. You will ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include reporting, drawing control, documentation, and client liaison, with travel to project sites as required. Strong leadership and construction knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant construction experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree plus three years.
• Degrees must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to meet safety and quality goals.
• Ensure work follows the project schedule and address delays with supervisors.
• Prepare daily reports and quality inspection reports for project records.
• Capture progress photos and label each image for records.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and ensure latest drawings are used.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Support key trades or subcontractors as required on the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate clearly with management and clients about project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith requirements.
• Follow CDM Smith Quality Policy and related procedures.
