Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects nationwide, with the first assignment in the northeast Ohio region.

Responsibilities include safety, quality control, scheduling, managing contracts and drawings, and maintaining records; travel is 100% and a relevant construction management degree or experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and drawing intent.
• Maintain project schedule and report delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Take progress photos and label them accordingly.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawings.
• Provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and procedures.
