Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site field operations on client projects nationwide, starting in northeast Ohio. You will manage safety, quality, scheduling, contracts, and daily reporting, while representing the company with clients and subcontractors at the site.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Project Managers, ensuring drawings and specs are followed, and maintaining records and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings.
• Maintains project schedule; escalates delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record keeping.
• Takes progress photos and labels them for records.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures latest design drawings are used in construction.
• Supports Project Construction Manager and possibly a key trade/subcontractor.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Communicates project issues clearly with management and clients.
• Maintains on-site records per The Perry Group requirements.
