Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client project sites across the United States. The first project is in northeast Ohio, with 100% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintains project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Takes progress photographs and labels them.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade or subcontractor in support of the overall project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provides proper correspondence with project management and clients to handle issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintains on-site records per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Understands The Perry Group Quality Policy Statement and follows Quality Systems Work Instructions.
