Job summary

D.R. Horton is seeking an Assistant Superintendent-IS to assist the Superintendent with managing community job sites and ensuring quality workmanship. This role focuses on scheduling, supervising subcontractors, safety, and cost control while delivering excellent customer service during construction phases.

The candidate will gain experience in building codes, scheduling, and coordination across teams, with opportunities to contribute to a high-volume homebuilding operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive among sites.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each home daily to assure quality and schedule alignment.
• Schedule and walk inspections with inspectors.
• Walk homes before homeowner walks-through and closing to ensure quality.
