Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Denver, CO is seeking an Intern/Co-Op to gain hands-on experience on active construction projects. You will work under supervision on day-to-day activities across construction management, safety, and project coordination, with potential educational credit.

Eligible students pursuing Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management programs gain exposure to estimations, RFIs, and subcontractor coordination while meeting safety protocols and site standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college/university degree program or Co-op; preferred majors include Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• Must be 18 years of age to work at a construction project site.
• Desire to work in construction management and learn about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as determined by assignment.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and leadership or community involvement.
• Proficient verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist on active construction projects to build foundational knowledge in project management and financials.
• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
• Follow site safety protocols and wear PPE as directed.
• Provide progress reports and learn about construction management.
• Relate academic knowledge to real project work and maintain professional relationships.
