Qualifications

• Enrolled and actively pursuing a college or university degree program or co-op.
• Must be 18 years or older to work on a construction site.
• Desire to learn construction management and the construction industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime if required.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written information.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and participate.

Responsibilities

• Work at an active construction project site or main office as assigned.
• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, and reporting.
• Follow site signage and supervisor instructions and wear PPE.
• Provide progress reports and learn construction management practices.
• Apply academic knowledge to project activities and document work.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, and subcontractors.
• Attend trainings, meetings, and orientations.
• Assist with start-up activities and support Project Engineer/PM during assignments.
• Help collect information for RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Assist with contract information distribution and cost change estimates.
• Observe site visits and document field activities.
• Communicate with Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors as directed.
• Coordinate with trades to track job schedules and monitor safety compliance.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and learn estimation processes.
