Job summary

Hermanson Company in Dallas, TX is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for on-site support on a large mechanical construction project. This role provides HR services, onboarding, HR systems management, and employee relations with both union and non-union workers.

You will handle onboarding, background checks, file maintenance, HR data, and interview coordination, in a fast-paced field setting with wear-and-tear work conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required.
• SHRM-CP or HRCI credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and customer service functions for HR and site leadership.
• Assists HR Generalists with onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and I-9s.
• Processes new hire background checks and drug screens.
• Maintains employee files and HR data spreadsheets.
• Supports scheduling interviews and drafting offers.
