Planate Management Group seeks a Construction Engineer to support the EHRM NRM Project at the Portland Campus. You will coordinate construction activities, manage submittals, monitor schedules, conduct inspections, and maintain project documentation on-site in Portland, Oregon.

The role offers hands-on experience in construction management, with opportunities to learn from seasoned professionals. This is a full-time on-site position with a competitive benefits package and a budgeted annual

Qualifications

• Pass background check and VA PIV card.
• Possess reach-back expertise for the specific task order.
• Access VA construction management software training.
• Meet professional standards (TJC, OSHA, VA).
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and obtain a favorable NACI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittal reviews and manage submittal process.
• Review submittals and provide escort duties.
• Track availability of long lead items and document schedule impact.
• Review and monitor construction phase schedules, milestones, and deliveries.
• Attend progress meetings and follow up on Government actions.
• Field verify as-builts and assist updates of as-builts.
• Perform inspections and report to COR on items needing correction.
• Assist with actions for issues and development of COAs.
• Provide troubleshooting support.
• Support commissioning.
• Perform surveys and field investigations.
• Advise government and recommend contract changes or claims analyses.
