Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the EHRM NRM Project at the Portland Campus. You will coordinate construction activities, manage submittals, monitor schedules, conduct inspections, maintain project documentation, and support project completion.

This on-site Portland role offers hands-on experience in construction management, with a budget of $70,000 per year, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Pass background check and obtain VA PIV card.
• Bring background, qualifications, capabilities, and skillset to support the project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittal reviews and manage submittal process.
• Review submittals and provide escort duties.
• Track availability of long-lead items and document impact to schedule.
• Review and monitor construction phase schedules with milestones, workflows and inspections.
• Attend and support progress meetings; follow up on Government actions.
• Field verification of as-builts and assist with updates.
• Perform inspections and provide reports to COR on required corrections.
• Assist with courses of action for issues and troubleshooting.
• Support commissioning and related construction services.
