Planate Management Group (PMG) seeks a Construction Engineer to support the EHRM NRM Project in Portland. You will coordinate construction activities, manage submittals, monitor schedules, conduct inspections, maintain project documentation, and support project completion on-site in Portland, Oregon.

This is a hands-on role for a recent graduate to gain experience in construction management, with opportunity to learn and grow alongside seasoned professionals within a global company.

Qualifications

• Background check and VA PIV clearance required.
• Access to VA construction management software used for the project.
• Must obtain favorable NACI background check.
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet professional standards including OSHA and VA design standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittal reviews and manage submittal process.
• Review submittals and perform escort duties.
• Track long lead items and document schedule impact.
• Monitor construction phase schedules, milestones, and inspections.
• Attend progress meetings and follow up on government actions.
• Field verify as-builts and assist with updates.
• Inspect work and provide COR-ready reports for corrections.
• Assist with action plans for issues and solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting support and assist commissioning.
• Participate in surveys and field investigations.
• Advise government on modifications or potential claims.
