Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Construction Engineer to support the EHRM NRM Project at the Portland Campus. You will coordinate construction activities, manage submittals, monitor schedules, conduct inspections, and support project completion on-site in Portland, Oregon.

This opportunity welcomes recent graduates and provides hands-on experience in construction management, with a base budget of $70,000 per year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Pass background check and obtain VA PIV card.
• Bring background, qualifications, capabilities for the task order.
• Access and complete VA construction management software training.
• Meet timelines with professional skill and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate submittal reviews and manage submittal process.
• Review submittals and provide escort duties.
• Track availability of long lead items and document schedule impact.
• Review and monitor construction phase schedules, milestones and deliveries.
• Attend and support progress meetings; follow up on Government actions.
• Field verification of as-builts and assist with updates.
• Perform inspections and provide reports to COR on corrections.
• Assist with courses of action for issues and provide troubleshooting support.
• Support commissioning and other construction-related services.
• Advise government and recommend actions for contract modifications or claims.
