Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in commercial construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial construction plans and specs.
• OSHA 10 safety certification required.
• Strong organizational and on-site communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent in managing daily site operations, including trade coordination, material tracking, and safety compliance
• Maintain proficiency in document control tools and processes, with accurate reporting
• Track procurement items from submittal through delivery and site installation
• Enforce JRM safety procedures on site
• Read drawings and communicate relevant information to stakeholders
• Supervise designated trades and areas within the project scope
• Cover for the Superintendent when needed and resolve safety or project issues
• Prepare construction admin tasks like submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and progress tracking
• Coordinate building access, deliveries, and site logistics
• Use construction software and MS Office for documentation and communication
• Assist one Superintendent on small–medium projects or support multiple Superintendents on larger ones
