JRM Construction Management in Beverly Hills is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily on-site operations, coordinate trades, track materials, and ensure safety compliance on high-end projects.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant commercial construction experience, knowledge of reading drawings, OSHA 10, and strong organizational and communication skills to help the Superintendent manage subcontractors and project tasks efficiently.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years' relevant experience in commercial construction
• Proficient in reading and interpreting commercial construction plans and specifications
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification required
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on site

Responsabilidades

• Support the Superintendent in managing daily site operations, including trade coordination, material tracking, and safety compliance
• Maintain proficiency in document control tools and processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
• Track procurement items from submittal through delivery and site installation
• Apply knowledge of safety procedures and enforce compliance on site
• Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, communicating relevant information to stakeholders
• Supervise designated trades and work areas within the project scope
• Cover the jobsite in the Superintendent's absence, addressing safety or project issues with subs and staff
• Prepare and manage construction administration tasks such as submittal and RFI processes, meeting minutes, progress tracking, and safety paperwork
• Coordinate building access, delivery schedules, and site logistics
• Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, adapting messaging for varied audiences
• Utilize construction software and Microsoft Office to support project documentation
• Serve as an assistant to one Superintendent on small to medium projects, or as part of a team supporting multiple Superintendents on larger projects
