Job summary

JRM Construction Management seeks an Assistant Superintendent to support on-site operations, assist with trade coordination, material tracking, and safety compliance. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to cover the Superintendent when needed.

Responsibilities include tracking submittals and RFIs, reading drawings, supervising trades, and coordinating access and site logistics. Prior experience in commercial construction and OSHA 10 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of commercial construction experience.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification is required.
• Strong organization and communication on site.

Responsibilities

• Support the Superintendent with daily on-site operations and coordination.
• Maintain documentation and reporting across trades and safety.
• Supervise designated trades and assist with RFIs/submittals.
• Read and interpret drawings and communicate details to the team.
• Cover the site in the Superintendent's absence and address issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree or 3 years' experience in commercial construction

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health Certification
