Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable/HR professional for a permanent, on-site role in Carrollton, TX. The successful candidate will manage all AP functions, oversee labor payments, handle A/R/A/P, and supervise payroll.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years in AP, preferably in construction, with strong attention to detail and communication skills. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of labor payments, account reconciliation, A/R, A/P, and payroll.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring payments are timely and accurate.
• Oversee labor payments, ensuring workers are paid correctly and on time.
• Reconcile all accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle all aspects of A/R and A/P, including invoicing, collections, and vendor relations.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely, accurate payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Comply with financial regulations and stay updated on changes.
