Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the AP operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment within the construction industry. You will manage month-end close processes and ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP while driving process improvements and policy development.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of AP management experience, strong Excel skills, and leadership capabilities to coach and develop a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing high-volume accounts payable in large-scale organizations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable department ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage month-end close for accounts payable.
• Analyze accounts payable data, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain AP policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Train, coach, and supervise AP staff and ensure policy adherence.
• Prepare and present AP-related financial reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve AP issues.
• Participate in annual budget development and forecasts.
