Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Conference Services Manager to oversee the Conference Center and executive spaces at Mutual of Omaha’s headquarters in Omaha, NE. You will lead the Conference Services team, coordinate events, and ensure top-tier guest experiences.

The role requires 5–7 years in hospitality/event management and 3+ years of people management, with strong communication and operational leadership. On-site duties and a focus on safety and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in hospitality, events, or facilities.
• 5–7 years in progressively responsible roles in hospitality, event management, corporate facilities, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the planning and execution of events and conference services.
• Give tours of the property to clients as directed.
• Conduct pre-event meetings with event staff and post-event follow-up.
• Maintain vendor relationships, agreements, certificates of insurance, and reports.
• Coordinate labor, AV, security, and loading dock schedules for events.
• Serve as on-site point of contact during high-profile or executive meetings.
• Prepare and distribute monthly reports on venue utilization, event volume, and service performance.
