Mercy Housing in Tacoma is hiring a Property Manager to lead on-site operations for The Northern, a new affordable housing community. You will oversee staff, leasing, rent collections, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring residents receive excellent service and safe, well-maintained homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord/Tenant.
• Experience handling financials and budgets.
• Experience in HUD/LIHTC, Rural Housing or Tax-Exempt Bond properties.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great customer service to residents in partnership with staff.
• Rent collection and ensuring timely payments.
• Maintain occupancy targets through leasing strategies.
• Manage property operations within budget and identify cost savings.
• Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance and required documentation.
• Drive performance to meet budgeted CNOI objectives.
• Other duties as assigned.
