Job summary

South Oxford Management LLC seeks an on-site Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations, revenue management, and occupancy growth across our NY properties. You will recruit and mentor staff, oversee budgets, ensure lease commitments are met, and maintain high service levels for residents and teams.

The role requires 3+ years in property management (1+ year as Community Manager), a HS diploma (bachelor's preferred), and willingness to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in property management, with at least one year as a Community Manager.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work on-site five days a week; this role is not remote or hybrid eligible.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and supervise all team members; provide feedback and disciplinary support as needed.
• Oversee budgeting, occupancy, rent growth, and service KPIs; report weekly/monthly results.
• Ensure rent collection, vendor relations, and compliance with policies and Fair Housing laws.
• Screen applicants for creditworthiness and manage leasing operations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and future residents; maintain property cleanliness and safety.
