Job summary

Greystar seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational facets of a 226-unit garden-style community. You will handle accounting tasks, monthly close-outs, invoices, and deposits, using Yardi/OneSite to report on financials.

Based in Chattanooga, TN, you should have 1–3 years in property management, strong communication skills, and the ability to supervise on-site tasks in the manager's absence. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management, communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in residence life or property management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent, fees, and other payments and posts daily transactions.
• Operates property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata) accurately.
• Reviews accounts to identify delinquencies and enforces lease terms.
• Reviews and subprocesses invoices, codes charges, and coordinates payments.
• Assists in evictions following notice requirements and court procedures.
• Supports leasing/marketing by greeting prospects and assisting with applications.
