Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Community Manager for Meridian in Hollywood, FL. The role focuses on leasing, rent collection, budgeting, and maintaining high-quality properties across a diverse portfolio including subsidized and affordable housing.

The ideal candidate will have affordable housing experience, CAM/ARM/COS certs, and 2+ years on-site leasing or 3 years supervisory customer service experience. Ability to work evenings/weekends and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Prior Affordable Housing experience is required.
• CAM/ARM/COS certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 2 years on-site as Leasing Consultant or Assistant Community Manager; 3 years supervisory experience in customer service with applicable certifications.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents is required.
• Competence with personal computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with community software applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Understand market and rental rates by surveying local competition.
• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals, and showing units.
• Negotiate leases and collect security deposits.
• Collect rents, pay bills, forecast requirements, and assist in budgeting.
• Maintain property by resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, and coordinating repairs.
• Supervise maintenance and security services and respond to emergencies.
• Prepare reports by analyzing data and trends.
• Pursue professional development opportunities.
