Job summary

TRG Management is hiring for a Leasing Consultant / Assistant Community Manager role in Florida. The ideal candidate has prior affordable housing experience, holds CAM/ARM/COS or equivalent certification, and at least 2 years on-site leasing experience. The position requires strong PC skills and knowledge of housing regulations.

Evening and weekend availability is expected. We offer a base salary plus performance bonus, health/dental/vision coverage, employer-paid life and disability insurance,

Qualifications

• Prior Affordable Housing experience is preferred.
• Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents is required.
• 2+ years on-site as Leasing Consultant or Assistant Community Manager; 3 years supervisory experience in a customer service related business with certification(s) acceptable.
• Proficient in PC skills, keyboard, internet search, math, MS Word/Excel/Outlook and community software applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Understand market and rental rates by surveying the local competition.
• Attract tenants by advertising vacancies and showing units.
• Execute leases and collect security deposits.
• Collect rents, pay bills, forecast requirements and support annual budgeting.
• Maintain property by resolving tenant complaints and scheduling repairs.
• Contract with maintenance services and supervise repairs.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce occupancy policies.
• Prepare reports and analyze data and trends.
• Engage in professional development and networking to add value.
