Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking an Assistant Community Director to support the Community Director in the daily operations of an affordable housing community in Knoxville, TN. You will assist with financial administration, compliance, leasing, and resident relations to maintain occupancy and quality service.

This on-site role requires attention to detail, knowledge of LIHTC/HUD/Section 8 processes, and experience with RealPage/OneSite or similar software.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property management or administrative experience, affordable housing preferred.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC and/or HUD/Section 8 certification processes preferred.
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, Fortress, or similar property management software preferred.
• Fair Housing certification required within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support management of the property's operating budget and occupancy goals.
• Assist with leasing activities, tours, applications, and move-in coordination.
• Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation for audits.
• Step in as on-site leader for the Community Director in their absence.
