Job summary

Elmington Living is seeking an Assistant Community Director to support the Community Director in the operation of an affordable housing community. This on-site leadership role covers budgeting, compliance, leasing, and resident relations to maintain compliant resident files and accurate financial records.

You will help with leasing activities, move-ins, and certifications while coordinating with maintenance and ensuring timely apartment turnovers and occupancy targets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of property management or administrative experience.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC and/or HUD/Section 8 certification processes preferred.
• Experience with RealPage/OneSite, Yardi, Fortress, or similar property management software preferred.
• Fair Housing certification required within 7 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operating budget and occupancy to meet or exceed targets.
• Assist with delinquency processes and rent collection efforts.
• Assist with eviction processes in accordance with legal requirements.
• Prepare final account statements for move-outs and assist with annual certifications.
• Support leasing activities, tours, applications, and move-in coordination.
• Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation.
