Job summary

Elmington Living seeks an Affordable Community Director to manage operations, leasing, and tenant relations for a multifamily community. You will oversee vendor relations, maintenance, and financial performance to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.

You will be the primary Elmington representative to residents, vendors, and employees, ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and a proactive, can-do approach in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Financial management, review, and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with federal fair housing standards and laws.
• Presenting a professional image to residents, vendors, and owners.
• Operating computers and other technological devices.
• Maintaining resident files onsite in electronic and/or hardcopy format.
• Willingness to work weekends.
• Proven leader, forward thinker, innovative, and driven.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor relations and property maintenance.
• Monitor leasing performance and occupancy to meet goals.
• Manage staff and financial performance of the community.
• Represent Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Respond to issues outside of normal hours when required.
• Maintain organized resident files and records.
• Travel as needed up to 10%.
